This cookbook began with recipes that my mother, Rose, inherited from her mother and friends, along with those she created. Some are from a handwritten cookbook that she made for me as a newlywed in 1976. I grew up in the great Julia Child era, so you'll find a lot of her influences here, too.
There's a whole section devoted strictly to boating meals; prepare ahead and enjoy gourmet meals on the water or wherever you might be.
